Play Dough Recipe

Feeling adventurous or simply wanting to try something new with your kids? Get on your apron and get into the kitchen to make home made play dough. Here's an easy recipe that is fun to make and kid friendly:

Mrs. Bettie's Play Dough Recipe

  • 2 ½ cups Flour
  • ½ cup salt
  • 3 Tbs. Vegetable Oil
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 pkg. kool-aid (same flavor)
  • Instructions:

First mix all dry ingredients together (this includes the kool-aid)

Next, carefully add boiling water and oil and begin mixing with a spoon.

As the dough begins to cool you can use your hands to help you mix and knead the play dough.

If you find that your dough is becoming sticky, add flour until you reach the desired consistency.

    Enjoy!
